Visit to a hamlet

Miranda and I went to visit a hamlet around A 40 minute walk away from the youth hostel. Our first stop was a church which was situated on top of a steep hill overlooking Fowey river. We had a long look around and found an old well to photograph as well as the church itself which had beautiful architecture. We then took a walk down the steep hill to the little hamlet. The hamlet was right on top of the river of Fowey which can sometimes have a high tide which will flood the roads.

There was also a train line, we asked a local resident whether this train line was used for commuters and we was told that The steam train that runs on the line carrys clay and does not run every year.

The town was very beautiful with boats littering the waters edge. A very good and productive day for both me and Miranda as I was able to get quite a few scenic pictures and Miranda got an interview off a local resident.

Yet again another productive day. Now off to editing and making a presentation of my pictures. I will post the presentation up soon. HN
